Comicoz Award

4 Jan

I was a bit surprised but very chuffed (I must say!) to find this morning that The Long Weekend in Alice Springs had been awarded the Comicoz Award for Best Australian Original Comic Book for 2013!

Thanks to Nat Karmichael and Comicoz – very much appreciated.

Pics from the artist’s talk

20 May

On Saturday the 11th of May РCraig San Roque joined  Josh Santospirito for a bit of a chat with some interested people about things to do with the comic.

Interestingly enough – about 30 people showed up … which was pretty awesome. Here’s some photos by Nadine Kessler.

Sleuth Exhibition #2

17 May

Sleuth travelled to Alice Springs with me recently as well … he seems to fly off to all parts of the country, leaving no stone unturned … he really wants to get to the bottom of this malarkey: what the FYKE is garn ON ‘ERE!???

Below shows Ivan Brackic in Tenterfield (briefly). I am currently working on a 20 page Brackic story for the upcoming Tasmanian comics series Down There. It’ll be done in July.
