Sleuth: The Pulse
by Joshua Santospirito

April 16th, 3-6pm
Visual Bulk
153a Argyle St, Hobart

THE PULSE is a live musical investigation into percussive sound and it’s hypnotic and ritualistic evocation of the new religion. We need to listen more closely to the underground spiritual pulsations if we are to survive on this terrifying/beautiful continent.

This art-event involves multiple projected animations (in all senses of the word) and a 3 hour live drum-kit meditation with anyone welcome to join in with instruments or wailing. No prior musical experience required … none at all.

Sleuth is a rambling series of events, comics, publications, exhibitions and animations that focuses on the elusive modern Australian spirituality, (whatever the hell that means!?). It began in 2012 and it is still happening today, it may even keep going on and on.
